The Student Union of Obafemi Awolowo University has acquired a property of 6 acres to develop new hostels. The plots were allocated by the school management
This is considered as a progressive move from the Union and the management as it shows their sincere interest in the welfare of the students.

OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT
(As at Sunday, 1st January, 2015)
Beyond the TV room project, the conference room
refurbishment, the two mini-pedestrian bridges
along sport/Faj & Faj/Awo routes, two well/tap
projects, securing of three buses, Great Ife app,
among others, the Union has now secured six(6)
acres of land for its about 2,000 bedspace-capacity
modern hostel. Work is to start on the site soon
ceteris paribus. Ours is a developmental unionism,
the alternative to the status quo we met. If it could
be done far back 1978, it can still be done now! We
solicit for your support!
