It seems the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has postponed the 2015 general elections by six weeks.
An official close to the commission said the decision was reached earlier today 7th February at a stakeholders meeting.
INEC is citing insecurity posed by Boko Haram insurgency as it's reason for the postponement.
INEC is yet to give an official statement, but should do so later in the day.
