Governor Babangida Aliyu of Niger state yesterday ordered his deputy, Ahmed Ibeto out of the State's Executive Council meeting.
This action was informed by Ibeto's defection from people's Democratic Party to All Progressives' Congress. The governor was said to have insisted on Ibeto leaving, or he wouldn't preside over the meeting.
Ibeto was said to have left the meeting for his office to pack his belongings when the governor threatened to use security to force him out
