President Goodluck Jonathan and members of his family have started moving their belongings away from Presidential Villa, Abuja, just few days after the President lost his re-election bid.
Some buses loaded with travel bags of different shades and sizes were seen moving out of the President’s official residence around noon on Friday.
A source said the early movement of the belongings of the President's family might have been due to the need for the renovation of the villa before May 29.
For the work to commence on time, the President might be staying outside the villa in the next few days.
