In Dile, a village in Askira/Uba Local Government Area of the state, a member of the youth vigilante group said 20 persons were killed and many were injured when the Boko Haram insurgents attacked the village around 2am.
The source said, “Boko Haram militants, who are believed to be fleeing from the Nigerian soldiers on Thursday, killed at least 20 people in an attack on a village in Askira Uba Local Government Area in Borno
State.”
“The insurgents stormed the village around 2am in many vehicles, burning houses and killing anybody in sight.”
The other two persons were killed when another set of fighters on attacked Buratai village in Biu Local Government, they also injured three others.
