A group of ex-militants under the umbrella of a group called Coalition of Ex-agitators have endorsed the APC presidential candidate General Muhammadu Buhari, for the March 28 elections.
National President of the group, General Israel Akpodero said they came to the decision when they realised President Jonathan was only empowering his Ijaw brothers to the disadvantage of other nationalities in the Niger Delta.
The group claimed to be endorsing Buhari because of his pedigree.
General Buhari had promised to declare an emergency on unemployment in the Niger Delta with N10bn within APC's first 100 days in office.
