6 Ways to Live Longer

We all pray for long lives. You probably imagine what your old age will look like, with folks around you, but do we know things that can aid you living longer? Here are some few tips to longer lives.

Eat Right.
Eating the right kind of food at the right time is important. A balanced diet helps to keep the body healthy. A lot of people are fond of skipping meals, especially breakfast. This is quite bad, as nutritionists have opined that breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

Exercise Frequently
Regular exercise is also important to leading a longer life. It helps burn excess fat, and make the muscles and tissues stronger. People who exercise regularly stand less risk of having stroke and many other ailments

Wear a Smile
It takes 46 muscles to frown, and just 17 to smile. Smiling does more than telling people you’re happy. It helps your body function better and makes you more attractive. Smile is a natural pain killer, it boosts your immune system, relieves stress, thereby making you more relaxed.

Worry Less
Life can be very challenging at times. When it looks like heaven is about falling, remember you are not the only one with problems. Worrying does nothing but take your time, stress you (through thinking) and cause some damage to your body. Too much of thinking which arises from being worried can lead to sleeplessness, hypertension and even mental diseases.

Have Sex
They say “an apple a day keeps the doctor away”, but an orgasm a day does a lot more than the apple in keeping the doctor away. An increase in sexual frequency has health benefits. It increases immunity, keeps your heart healthy, reduces risk of prostate cancer and burns calories among other benefits. People who have sex frequently are usually much healthier than people who don’t. the most important thing is safety. Have Safe Sex.

Sleep Well
The link between sleep and health cannot be overemphasized. Blood pressures and the heart’s work rate are lowest during sleep. Therefore, people who don’t sleep enough have higher blood pressures. Lack of sleep may cause heart attack, diabetes, weight gain and lots of other problems. Sleep helps you look and feel better, lose a few pounds, and build a better brain among other things. Lack of sleep is a disease condition called amnesia. Seven to eight hours of sleep is considered adequate for adults.
