Governor Akinwunmi Ambode's special adviser on Commerce, Deji Tinubu, is dead.
Deji reportedly slumps during a novelty match in the Epe area of Lagos State late on Thursday evening. He was thereafter confirmed dead at a hospital in Epe.
Lagos State Executive members and other top government functionaries are in Epe for a retreat and Deji is one of them.
Deji is a relative to the former Governor of Lagos State, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Deji was also the former Chairman of Lagos State Sports Commission.
