EPL Boxing Day Roundup



Manchester United's woes continued as they lost 2-0 to Stoke city to extend their winless run to seven matches.
Goals from Bojan and Arnauntovic were all it took to put more pressure on under fire coach Louis van Gaal.

Guus Hiddink's second spell trying to revive Chelsea got off on a disappointing foot as the struggling champions drew 2-2 with in form Watford. Deeney and streaking Odion Ighalo both scored to make Diego Costa's two goals less celebrated at the bridge. Oscar also lost a chance to give Chelsea the winner from the penalty spot.

League leaders, Leicester city today lost to strugglers Liverpool. Liverpool's winning goal came through Christian Benteke in the second half.
In other matches, Man City came from last week's defeat at Arsenal like wounded lions to defeat relegation candidates, Sunderland 4-1, Harry Kane scored two as Tottenham beat Norwich 3-0, Bournemouth played a goalless draw with Crystal Palace, Aston Villa drew 1-1 with West Ham while Swansea defeated West Brom by a goal to nil.

Arsenal are to play Southampton later in the day.
